We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.
Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
Look out for portraits of former Ms in the secret service offices. Before Fiennes, Bond's bosses was played by Bernard Lee, Robert Brown and Judi Dench. Hang on, those paintings rather complicate the timeline, when you think about it.

We ordered No Time to Die last night. I was very disappointed to find that it had no subtitles. The sound track was not great and was a bit too "realistic" (i.e. mumberly) - I could only understand about half of it. For 15 I expected better. I think anything on Sky Store should clearly state whether it has subtitles or not.
Sky store movie don't have subtitles at all only one or two have subtitles...it's not good enough all movies must have subtitles every single movies... why making so difficult for deaf people's like me can't watch movie don't have subtitles!!! It's not deaf awareness!!
I'm fed up of this. Just bought Elvis on sky store to keep and no subtitles. This is dreadful discrimination against hard of hearing. I'm not heard of haring bit both of my parents are, I invited them to come watch the movie and no subtitles. What is going on??? @skyA I want a refund and I need you to give me a date of when you will be supplying subtitles to all movies. Ridiculous and very bad form and so unprofessional.
Just purchased Top gun maverick from sky store which has a very poor mumbling sound track in places and i cannot believe it does not have subtitles? This is just unbelievable. This copy is therefore unfit for purpose and i request a full refund. This request will possibly fall on deaf ears.A very disappointed sky customer.Once bitten.
I wrote a long para and it disappeared. So again:. Agree. I have to watch No Tme to Die on ITV tonight . Bought months ago, not again. Sky should do better. I wear hearing aids and cannot understand all. Even Boxsets have no subtitles?! I watched State of Play this weekend and missed key dialogue. Not impressed.
The dialogue is adapted by My Hero Academia's Emily Neves, an important task given that humor notoriously does not always translate directly. Going strictly by the differences between the dub and Funimation's own subtitles, one such adaptation is that Draluc now accuses the sniveling Ronaldo of being "cringey" rather than "foolish." This change better reflects Draluc's personality as a surprisingly modern vampire than the more direct phrasing of the subtitles.

Since timeimmemorial, the people living in the south-west of what has historically been Russianland have called themselves Russians and Orthodox Christians. This was the casebefore the 17th century, when a portion of this territory rejoinedthe Russian state, and after.
Moreover, in the course of power struggle within the Communist Partyitself, each of the opposing sides, in a bid to expand its support base, started to thoughtlessly incite and encourage nationalist sentiments, manipulatingthem and promising their potential supporters whatever they wished. Against the backdrop of the superficial and populist rhetoric about democracy and a brightfuture based either on a market or a planned economy, but amid a trueimpoverishment of people and widespread shortages, no one among the powers thatbe was thinking about the inevitable tragic consequences for the country.
Now is not the time or place to go into matters pertaining to state or constitutional law, or define the concept of citizenship. But one may wonder: whywas it necessary to rock the country even more in that already complicated situation? The facts remain.
Even two years before the collapse of the USSR, its fate was actuallypredetermined. It is now that radicals and nationalists, including and primarily those in Ukraine, are taking credit for having gained independence. As we can see, this is absolutely wrong. The disintegration of our unitedcountry was brought about by the historic, strategic mistakes on the part of the Bolshevik leaders and the CPSU leadership, mistakes committed at differenttimes in state-building and in economic and ethnic policies. The collapse of the historical Russia known as the USSR is on their conscience.
At the same time, it was striking how the Ukrainian authorities always preferred dealing with Russia in a way thatensured that they enjoy all the rights and privileges while remaining free fromany obligations.
The officials in Kiev replaced partnership witha parasitic attitude acting at times in an extremely brash manner. Suffice it to recall the continuous blackmail on energy transits and the fact that they literallystole gas.
It should be noted that Ukraine actually never had stable traditions of real statehood. And, therefore, in 1991 it opted for mindlessly emulatingforeign models, which have no relation to history or Ukrainian realities. Politicalgovernment institutions were readjusted many times to the rapidly growing clansand their self-serving interests, which had nothing to do with the interests of the Ukrainian people.
Since 2014, water bills increased by almost a third, and energy bills grew several times, while the price of gasfor households surged several dozen times. Many people simply do not have the money to pay for utilities. They literally struggle to survive.
What happened? Why is this all happening? The answer is obvious. They spent and embezzled the legacy inherited not only from the Soviet era, but also from the Russian Empire. They lost tens, hundreds of thousands of jobs which enabled people to earn a reliable income and generatetax revenue, among other things thanks to close cooperation with Russia. Sectorsincluding machine building, instrument engineering, electronics, ship and aircraft building have been undermined or destroyed altogether. There was a time, however, when not only Ukraine, but the entire Soviet Union took pride in these companies.
As we know, it has already been stated today that Ukraine intends to create its own nuclear weapons, and this is not just bragging. Ukraine has the nuclear technologies created back in the Soviet times and delivery vehicles for such weapons, including aircraft, as well as the Soviet-designed Tochka-U precisiontactical missiles with a range of over 100 kilometres. But they can do more; itis only a matter of time. They have had the groundwork for this since the Soviet era.
I will add that the US-built MaritimeOperations Centre in Ochakov makes it possible to support activity by NATO warships, including the use of precision weapons, against the Russian Black Sea Fleet and our infrastructure on the entire Black Sea Coast.
Moreover, I will say something I have never said publicly, I will say it now for the first time. When then outgoingUS President Bill Clinton visited Moscow in 2000, I asked him how America wouldfeel about admitting Russia to NATO.
