SimLab OBJ Exporter for SolidWorks can be a good plugin to the traditional draw process. When ever you draw something on a computer you are have to work around limitations. The old way of making a 3d model is having a program like SketchUp, or using Photoshop and other image editing software.
After trying out the SimLab OBJ Exporter for SolidWorks on a few different machines and versions I came to the conclusion that I did not like it on my Mac. I think the new version brings some things to the forefront that make the program a bit easier to use. I was able to figure out most of the new features and get the program to export my files. If you have a Mac and run into problems with importing files run a bit of tinkering and figure it out. When I run into any problems just send me a message and I will try to help you.
