With SAP GUI for Windows 7.70, we have added a new opportunity to customize the AllEdition at their own risk. This can be done via a new setting called "Customize allEdition" in the Advanced Windows Settings. This allows you to revert back to the default settings of the AllEdition, otherwise the setting remains persistent to allow you to customize it.

The AllEdition shows all the backends in the Windows Explorer. Since many customers have different backends, the AllEdition can be customized per backend. This can be done by setting the "Customize allEdition" to "Yes". It will ask you how to do this (2 choices): 1) Turn off all backend entries in the Windows Explorer. 2) Turn off selected backends in the Windows Explorer. Themes Windows 7 AllEdition Note: This setting applies only to Windows 7. For Windows XP, no setting is available.
Usage: Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Standard customers can use this setting to reduce the experience of the AllEdition if they dont need certain features provided by Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Standard. In this case, the AllEdition will use only the basic features available in Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Standard. For example, in SAP GUI for Windows 7.72 and newer, depending on the settings used in the above example, the feature menu also shows an entry called Customize allEdition. You can use this feature to revert back to the default settings. This can be done via a new setting called "Customize allEdition" in the Advanced Windows Settings.
